Personal Background
Born and raised in Palestine, Khalil Sayegh grew up living under occupation, from experiencing the harsh blockade of Gaza to being chased by violent settlers and the IDF in the West Bank. Shaped by this upbringing, Khalil has an intimate knowledge of the innate human yearning for freedom and peace.
Why Agora Was Created
The Agora Initiative, founded by Palestinian analyst Khalil Sayegh, is a 501(c)(3) non-profit dedicated to ending the Israeli occupation and promoting lasting peace. We provide accurate information, empower global action, and advocate for equal rights, security, and prosperity for both Palestinians and Israelis.
